Today’s post is an extra special one. Not only is today the second anniversary of Jessica & Jeremy, but it is also THE Pink Shoe wedding!

When the two of us decided to start a photography company together, we struggled to come up with a good, solid name that wouldn’t be too cheesy. We fell in love with Jessica’s fun, pink wedding shoes a couple months prior, and we just could not get over them. Then it hit us: We were Pink Shoe Photography. It was fun, stylish and un-stuffy. This was our photography style, so  the name fit perfectly.

If Jenica worked double-time at Carrie & Michael’s Atlanta wedding, then she worked triple time at this one! Not only was she a glowing bridesmaid and sister of the groom, but she also photographed this wedding while five months pregnant.. with TWINS!

Carrie & Michael’s Garden Wedding – Atlanta, Georgia

Carrie & Michael had the most gorgeous wedding at Canoe in Atlanta. The weather was perfect, and the couple was beaming all day. They are so happy together, and it is evident in these bride and groom shots.  And that dress!! We were gushing about that dress all day!

You may recognize one of the bridesmaids in these photos… Yep, that’s Jenica! She worked double-time on the big day as both

matron of honor AND photographer.

Robin & Dominic’s Botanical Garden Wedding – Atlanta, Georgia

Robin and Dominic had an small wedding ceremony with their closest friends and family at the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We were ecstatic when the couple told us that they wanted to do a First Look before their wedding. We’ve always been big fans of this tradition, and we relish in capturing the special moments shared between the bride and groom just before the ceremony (more on our love of First Looks later!)

After the gorgeous afternoon ceremony, we took the bride and groom around the grounds of the garden for photos of the newlyweds. Just when we thought this venue couldn’t get any more beautiful– the sun began to set, providing us with the perfect soft, glowing light.

As the sky fell dark, we headed to the couple’s favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant for their intimate reception. How sweet, that every time they go back for spring rolls and curry, they get to relive their special day!
